A boy. A girl. A ring.
And now for a plan. It’s going to be a positively wild ride my friends… so hop on, strap in and enjoy it! I am planning a wedding. Up until now you could pretty much call me a professional bridesmaid. I’ve been in all of my closest friends weddings and enjoyed every one of them! Alas, I am thrilled to be planning my own wedding with my boyfriend Art! He is an absolute peach pie and and a scholarly theologian, therefore will be quite busy over the next few months/years of his life and has graciously allowed me to make most, if not all, of the decisions of this process.
I have decided to dedicate this blog to my planning process. I will frequently update with new, fresh, fashion forward ideas about different aspects of my wedding. I plan on pulling inspiration from all things around me. My job, my friends, family, clothing, birds, art, and bridal mags of course will be of my most popular muses. I am a non traditional girl who is excited to plan a non traditional wedding. (Don’t worry, I wont be riding in on the back of a wild peacock) I’m definitely not knocking tradition! I am crazy about all things vintage and “tradition” is so vintage. I aim to break the mold a little and do some things out of the norm. My goal is to encourage other brides to embrace their own individuality while adopting aspects of the new and melding them with the old.
This lovely lady has the right idea. She is an amazing photographer, great blogger, and has many links to great sites for Unbrides around the globe. I am very excited to share this process with you and to hopefully help answer questions, inspire ideas, and stay within budget all along the way.
